In short

The Nova is an app-controlled GPS dog fence collar, and most owners say it contains their dog and is worth what it costs.

Good for

Good for owners with open or wooded yards who want a flexible virtual boundary without burying wire.

Watch for

Fewer people say it beat their expectations, so go in expecting a solid performer rather than a standout surprise.
