In short

This compact Amazon Basics cross-cut shredder handles paper, credit cards, and staples, and the counts show it does the job reliably with very few failures.

Good for

Home office users who want a budget-friendly P-4 shredder for bills, junk mail, and old cards without a big footprint.

Watch for

The 3-minute runtime and 30-minute cool down mean big shredding piles need breaks, and the "better than expected" counts are more mixed.
