In short

This is a waterproof instant-read digital thermometer for meat, liquids, and candy, and the counts lean strongly positive on value and reliability.

Good for

Home cooks, grillers, and gift buyers who want a simple, backlit thermometer for the grill, oven, or fryer without paying for a wireless model.

Watch for

A small number of people reported it broke or stopped working, so keep your receipt if you're giving it as a gift.

The counts

Each row is a yes-or-no question. Not every review answered every question.
