In short
This straw-style LifeStraw filter lets you drink straight from a water source, and the counts lean strongly toward it working as promised and lasting.
Good for
Hikers, travelers and anyone building an emergency or bug-out kit who wants a light, simple filter that needs no setup.
Watch for
Fewer people felt it beat their expectations, so treat it as a solid basic tool rather than a pleasant surprise.
Each row is a yes-or-no question. Not every review answered every question.
