In short

The ANCEL AD310 is a basic plug-in OBD II code reader, and the counts say it does what it promises without fuss.

Good for

Drivers with a 1996 or newer car who want to read and clear check engine codes themselves instead of paying for a shop scan.

Watch for

Few people said it was better than expected, so treat it as a dependable basic tool rather than a pleasant surprise.

The counts

Each row is a yes-or-no question. Not every review answered every question.
