In short

Halloween: The Game puts you in Michael Myers' shoes in Haddonfield, and most buyers say it does the job and is fairly priced.

Good for

Slasher fans who want a horror sandbox and a standalone singleplayer story on PS5.

Watch for

A small group still reported it failing or falling short, so it may not click for everyone.
