In short

Microsoft Office Home 2024 is a one-time-purchase software bundle with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, and the counts lean lukewarm on value.

Good for

Someone who wants classic Office apps on a single Windows or Mac computer without paying a monthly subscription.

Watch for

Value and repeat-purchase counts lean negative, and it's licensed for just one device, so check that this fits before buying.
