Yes. Worth reading, especially if you like Baldacci or courtroom stories with real historical weight.

In short
David Baldacci's 2024 legal drama set in the racially charged 1960s South, and readers overwhelmingly rate it a strong, satisfying read.
Good for
Readers who enjoy courtroom stories and historical fiction, including Baldacci fans open to something different from his usual thrillers.
Watch for
It deals frankly with racism in the South, so expect heavy subject matter rather than a light thriller.

“It seems to me that Dave can write anything he likes and make it a great book. All I can say Dave you keep writing them and I will read them....”

“Great read. Sad but true look at the past racism that was prevalent in the South. Similar parallels to the present political hatred of others.”
