In short
Allen Levi's Theo of Golden is a 13-hour novel about kindness and what matters in life, and listeners were almost all happy with it.
Good for
Listeners who enjoy quiet, heartfelt fiction with thoughtful themes and want something to pass along to a friend.
Watch for
A few readers said it was not better than they expected, so the gentle, reflective pace may not suit everyone.
